From April 23 to 25, Coq Marée took part in the Seafood Expo Global in Barcelona, one of the world’s largest trade shows dedicated to seafood. It was a unique opportunity to highlight our industry, our commitment to quality, and above all, our Norman expertise in scallop processing.

Philippe Gall, Director of Coq Marée, proudly represented our teams and carried high the values of our company. From sustainable, artisanal fishing off the coast of Dieppe to the processing of scallop meat in our dockside facility, we showcased every step of our approach:

  1. Manual shucking immediately upon landing
  2. Flash freezing at -40°C within 48 hours to preserve freshness,
  3. And the production of roe-on or roe-off scallops, depending on the season — including Label Rouge certified products.

This international event allowed us to meet with numerous partners, strengthen business relationships, and reaffirm our ambition: to promote exceptional French seafood products, while respecting marine resources and the work of our fishermen.
