With a fleet of 12 scallop<\/strong> boats and a team of 80 sailors<\/strong>, Armement Favrou is dedicated to scallop fishing that respects both regulations and the environment. Each year, we land nearly 1 600 tons<\/strong> of high-quality scallops. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

A strictly Regulated Fishery<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Governed by prefectural decrees that set fishing hours and authorized quotas, our operations strictly adhere to the minimum regulated size of 11 cm for each scallop.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Our operations focus on the North-East Atlantic (NEA) Zone VII \u2013 Eastern Channel<\/strong>, renowned for its exceptional scallops.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

Treatment of Scallops Onboard:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Once caught, the scallops are sorted and washed with seawater, then stored in bags or boxes in the hold to keep them alive until shucking.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
