Our scallop dredgers are heading back to sea for a new Normandy scallop fishing season. This departure mobilizes an entire team: the sailors, Dieppe Atelier Naval, and our Coq Marée workshop. On land and at sea, everyone plays their part in this collective adventure.

Preparing for the season on land before departure

The first outings are the culmination of work undertaken during the off-season. At Dieppe Atelier Naval, teams worked alongside sailors to prepare the vessels and fishing equipment.

Maintenance, inspections, and equipment preparation: this stage mobilizes complementary expertise to support the resumption of maritime activity.

At sea, the crews take over

Aboard our scallop dredgers, the sailors return to the rhythm of scallop fishing. Knowledge of fishing zones, mastery of maneuvers, and coordination on deck: their experience and collective work are at the heart of every outing.

With this new season, an entire industry is set back in motion, from the departure from port to the landing of the scallops.

At the Coq Marée workshop, mobilization continues

On land, our teams are preparing to receive, process, and add value to Normandy scallops. Their expertise extends that of the crews to provide our clients with carefully prepared products.

This synergy between teams allows every stage to be linked, from vessel preparation to the processing of the catch.

The season has launched: we wish all our teams, on land and at sea, a successful return to work!
